A native of California, Sr. Teresa Marie was raised in a nominally Catholic home, attending Mass at Easter and Christmas each year. She fell in love with the Lord and the Faith when she was a freshman in high school. Sister’s Confirmation class convicted her of the need to attend weekly Mass and having a personal relationship with God.
Sr. Joseph Andrew:What would be the one thing you would say to young people considering Religious Life?
Sr. Teresa Marie: You need to be in conversation with Christ, it’s not as if you go and have the ‘warm fuzzies’ at a retreat and then you leave on top of the world. It’s more of a loving conversation with Him asking what His will is and where you can best be in union with Him. As Religious Sisters, our goal is assiduous union with Him.
